The pants aren’t rain proof at all. I wore them in Ireland in the rein and was totally wet inside. 2 other members of our group had them too and were also soaked.
These are the best zip up rain pants you can buy. They look really sharp and I appreciate that they look like regular pants and don’t flap in the wind. They are also very easy to get on and off. My only critique was that I had to size up to a large despite the sizing guide originally putting me in a medium. However, I am a large in everything so I probably should have known better.
The elephant in the room is that I would have gotten the new Claddagh rain pants if they were in stock so I didn’t have to deal with taking them on and off at all. .
