I own Galway pants and want to complete the look with a top as well, and as much as I love this product, the fit, even after following the sizing guide, was not true to size, rather ran bigger than expected. Only knock, otherwise, great company, great product.
I bought this for my husband’s golf trip to Ireland. It fits great, moves well, and looks nice off the golf course too. It is water resistant. To say it’s waterproof after playing a round in the wind and rain is where we question it. All his clothes underneath the jacket and his pants were soaked. Love the style but more water resistant than waterproof.
Very comfortable rain pants. I wore at St. Andrews through good and bad weather. Superb flexibility given they're rain chino.
Love my Hybrid vest! It has been great for fall weather in Colorado that can range from 60 degrees F to 45 degrees F within a few hours. I often wear a lighter weight long sleeve top with my Fane vest. Typically I get cold easily so the high tech breathable fabric has been fabulous at keeping in the warmth without making me overheat or get sweaty. It really is quiet with movement and I prefer the longer length.
These pants saved my long planned golf trip. Here in the upper Midwest USA, it has rained [hard] more than it has not. I was not going to let that dampen (get it?) my long planned golf trip with the guys. Dont judge me but I wore these pants for 3 days straight - yes, I know, but the weather was that bad. I was always comfortable [even during brief halts to the rain], I was always bone dry and I still had fun. Some of my buddies did NOT fare so well. These pants saved my golf trip; they are expensive but on some things I believe "buy once, cry once".
